The Eye and Love

Intimity, The most mature and ambitious project by Angel Agrela, begins with the memory of a platonic love and narrates the story of the appropiation of the unnatainable woman by means of the drawing. But these drawings, winners of awards at such important venues as the Penagos Prize and the BMW, owe their exactitude and their coherence to the rigour and complexity of the process developed by tha author in order to attain his goals; process tahat is the main argument of the drawing itself. Nothing is left here to chance, nothing is missing or superfluous, and what we finally contemplate on the delicate veil of the translucid  policarbonate is in fact the substance itself of the woman´s body such as it is aprehended and reconstructed today.
