With the title “TWO OR MORE”, Material Galería presents a selection of small bronze pieces of the sculptor Emilio Velilla.

The common nexus between these pieces, which belong to different dates, is the spatial interrelation and theme of two or more figures on the same piece, sharing the same space.

With the relationship between two or more figures in space, necessarily a second scenical space which creates a communicative tension necessary for the work is created. In this case the author presents an ample variation of feelings and situations of universal character. Love, indifference, incommunication, fellowship, death, instability, fear, effort...

In this exhibition one can perceive the different essays of spaces provoked by the author, spaces evolving from the vertical projection of two figures. Spaces with a tridimensional approach as a consequence of the form that generates them. Lineal spaces with an intense dramatical content.
